The formula of NewMe allows all ingredients to work in an optimum way. Owing to its highly absorbable, biologically active form, the NewMe food supplement helps eliminate deficiencies of vitamins and minerals essential for keeping your skin, hair, and nails healthy. All substances contained in the NewMe are in their biologically active forms (for example vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin), and in adequately large, safe doses.

The new formula is enriched with a phytoceramide complex and DGDG CERAMOSIDES™, which improves skin hydration and increases skin elasticity. Ceramides consolidate the intercellular space of the epidermis and help maintain adequate hydration. Key active ingredients:

- Ceramides are the main binder of epidermal cells and a widely used ingredient in cosmetics to strengthen the epidermal barrier. As we age, the amount of ceramides in the skin decreases, making it more susceptible to negative external factors, as well as becoming dry and less elastic. Ceramides increase hydration, elasticity, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and accelerate skin regeneration after cosmetic procedures.

- L-cysteine is involved in regulating nutrient metabolism, oxidative stress levels and physiological signalling pathways through the production of glutathione and taurine.

- Vitamin B6 (pantothenic acid) contributes among others to maintenance of correct energy metabolism and helps to maintain mental efficiency and supports pigmentation process, thus preventing greying of hair.

- Folic acid helps in correct functioning of immune system and supports correct blood production.

- D-biotin has many functions which are important for the organism, e.g. it supports healthy skin and hair, enables correct functioning of the nervous system.

- Rosehip extract is rich in antioxidants, polyphenols and vitamin C, which helps in production of collagen in order to ensure correct functioning of skin.

- Zinc contributes to maintaining normal macronutrient metabolism, helps maintain healthy bones, skin, hair and nails, and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

- Vitamin B6 is responsible for secretion of hormones, production of red blood cells and conversion of homocysteine into cysteine.

- Vitamin B12 supports the nervous and immune systems and is helpful in the production of red blood cells.

- Copper is involved in the production of melanin, the main pigment of skin and hair. It helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.

- Fish collagen is a natural protein that makes up over 30% of all proteins in the body. It is the basis of connective tissue, bone, hair, skin. 

- Vitamin E helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.

- Iron helps in correct oxygen transport in organism, in correct functioning of immune system, as well as in correct production of red blood cells and haemoglobin.

Recommended intake:

Has NewMe been tested?

All Health Labs Care supplements have been tested for presence of moulds, yeasts, bacteria (including presence of Escherichia coli, presence of Staphylococcus aureus, presence of Salmonella), and PAHs (sum of (Benzo[a]anthracene, Benzo[β]fluoranthene, Chrysene, and Benzo[α]pyrene), as well as heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury). Why does the size of the collagen molecule matter?

Typically, collagen consumed orally in supplement form has a molecular weight of more than 3000 Da, but this is reduced during the hydrolysis process. The lower the molecular weight of the collagen, the greater its bioavailability. This means that the hydrolysate is more likely to penetrate and be further distributed into the body.

With which other HealthLabs supplements can NewMe be combined?

The NewMe supplement can be used together with most Health Labs Care supplements. Make sure your diet (including any other dietary supplements you may take) does not contain an excess of vitamins A and E, zinc, or iron (for example the ingredients of the NewMe supplement overlap with those contained in the ProtectMe Immune+ and Vitamin B Complex supplements). If you have any doubts, consult a physician or a nutritionist.

Can the NewMe be used while undergoing laser hair removal treatments?

When undergoing laser treatments, supplements containing vitamin A (such as NewMe, SmartMe, or GlowMe) are not recommended.

When to take the supplement - before, after or with a meal?

Take all food supplements as instructed on the label and on the box. It's recommend that you always take our supplements after a meal to minimize the risk of any gastrointestinal discomfort. It is not recommended to drink coffee, strong tea, other caffeinated beverages, or alcohol immediately after taking the supplement.

What is the 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test, recommended when taking supplements such as NewMe, Vitamin D Natural+, and SmartMe?

This test measures the concentration of calcidiol, the first hydroxy-derivative of vitamin D, to determine whether the patient has a sufficient intake of vitamin D. This test is important in assessing the level of vitamin D in the body, so as to determine how much vitamin D is needed and what further diagnostics, if any, should be performed.

Can pregnant and breastfeeding women use NewMe?

The LittleMe 1st Trimester, LittleMe 2nd and 3rd trimester and OmegaMe Prenatal supplements has been developed for pregnant and breastfeeding women. This is a basic set of supplements that contains a number of ingredients recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as for those planning pregnancy. Why do the contents of the Day capsule change colour in the NewMe supplement?

Due to the natural origin of the CERAMOSIDES™ phytoceramides, it is possible that darker stains may occur in the Day capsule. Such a process does not affect the quality, properties and performance of the product, but is only due to the plant origin of the ingredient.
