The Black elderberry & Hollyhock Smoothing Face Mask is a collection of vitamins and ingredients to make the face firm, radiant and smooth. The eponymous elderberry extract is great for skin in need of solid hydration. What's more, both dry and oily skin will like it. In turn, mallow extract, accompanied by emollient ingredients, helps to retain water in the skin, which has a positive effect on its softness and elasticity. Additional smoothing, hydration and elasticity are provided by hydrolysed plant proteins and trehalose. And last but not least, acmella macerate - to crank up the 'natural botox' effect.

Key ingredients:

- Squalane retains moisture and reduces transepidermal water loss. This provides the skin with softness, elasticity and immediate relief. It also increases the transport of fat-soluble ingredients deep into the skin.

- Glycerine has moisturising and softening properties; it has a thickening effect.

- Mango butter is invaluable in the care of dry and damaged skin. It firms and regenerates.

- Elderberry oil a source of unsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants. It improves the skin's barrier function, has a nourishing effect, influences elasticity and firmness. It also smoothes, soothes inflammatory processes and irritation, and accelerates regeneration.

- Elderberry extract recommended for vascular complexions, but also used in anti-ageing preparations. Stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid and contributes to hydration and regeneration. It exhibits soothing, purifying, as well as astringent and antiseptic properties.

- Mallow extract helps to maintain an adequate level of hydration and reduce irritation and redness. At the same time, it smooths the skin and levels out minor bumps.

- Trehalose and hydrolysed plant protein - an active ingredient that is a balanced combination of a natural disaccharide (trehalose) and plant protein. Its structure mimics the composition of the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), increases firmness and promotes the regeneration of dry, reddened and sensitive skin.

- Clary sage essential oil is recommended for oily and combination skin. It smells fresh and refreshing.

- Orange essential oil has a stimulating, refreshing, cleansing and toning effect.

- Ylang-ylang essential oil has a relaxing, soothing and calming effect. It is characterised by a sweet, floral, sensual fragrance.

- Kappaphycus Alvarezii extract and Caesalpinia Spinosa fruit extract contains glucopolymers derived from galactomannans from the Tara tree and sulphate galactans from the red alga. It forms a thin, non-occlusive, elastic protective film on the skin, resembling a 'second skin'. In addition, it exhibits an anti-ageing, lifting effect.

- Tocopherols act as antioxidants, counteracting too rapid oxidation of the product's fatty components. Tocopherols also ensure prolonged shelf life, stability of colour, fragrance and the entire cosmetic compound.

Directions for use:

Apply a layer of the mask to cleansed skin on the face, neck and décolleté. Wait for approx. 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Apply 2 times a week or as needed.
