Thanks to the ability to penetrate deep into the hair follicles, it helps to eliminate blackheads, unblocks skin pores, reduces excessive sebum secretion and is helpful in inflammation. It improves the structure and color of the skin, lightens superficial discoloration and reduces shallow acne scars. Salicylic acid is milder than AHA and its action is long-lasting.

- Panthenol, or provitamin B5, belongs to the group of humectants. It is a highly hygroscopic substance and has a moisturizing effect. It easily penetrates deep into the skin, where it is transformed into pantothenic acid, i.e. the actual vitamin B5. As an active and soothing compound, it accelerates the regeneration processes of the epidermis, protects and cares for sensitive and prone to irritation skin.

- Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), regulates the pH, softens the water and increases the solubility of other compounds. As an active substance, it has a beneficial anti-inflammatory, cleansing and sebum-reducing effect in the case of acne and oily skin.

- Lactic acid is an acid belonging to the group of hydroxy acids (AHA) with an exfoliating and moisturizing effect. It improves the colour and structure of the skin, stimulates the production of ceramides, affects the production of collagen, reduces fine surface wrinkles, helps to reduce discolouration, unblocks pores and has antibacterial properties.

- Citric acid belongs to the group of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA), it has a keratolytic, i.e. exfoliating effect, thanks to which it removes discolouration and brightens the skin. In cosmetics, it acts as a pH regulator, and also complexes metal ions, thus increasing the durability of the cosmetic.
