Tahini sesame paste 500g, by TARGROCH - A great addition to many dishes!

Tahini sesame paste is known as tahini, tahini, sesame butter or sesame paste. It is one of the most recognizable ingredients in Far and Middle Eastern cuisine. It is characterized by an intense aroma with a noticeable nutty note. It is an inseparable component of the hummus, which comes from Egypt or Lebanon and is known all over the world.

Its original name is derived from Arabic and reveals little about the content. A hint is another popularized term for tahina - sesame butter. This product is made by grinding (or grating) the most often delicately toasted Indian sesame seeds, and its paste consistency is somewhat reminiscent of peanut butter.

Sesame seeds are still used occasionally in Polish cuisine - mainly as an addition to oriental dishes. They are primarily associated with caloric sweets - sesame and halva. Meanwhile, it is one of the most nutritious ingredients, rich in vitamins and minerals, protein, fiber and calcium, with excellent digestibility.

Tahina is an extremely valuable product for people who eat plant foods. Our ancient ancestors already classified it as particularly useful for health. It is at the forefront of ingredients rich in calcium and magnesium. Provides B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, B6), vitamin E and beta-carotene. In addition, it contains healthy fats, phytosterols, essential amino acids for the body, as well as food for muscles - protein.

In other words, sesame paste supports the maintenance of a healthy body weight, strengthens the feeling of satiety, adds energy and helps in the prevention of anemia. It is worth including it in the menu, especially in the fall and winter months, when the body's natural immunity decreases. While listing the pro-health benefits of tahini, one cannot forget that sesame paste is completely natural, free from dyes and preservatives.
