Aromatic and intense black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa), also known as black cumin, come from a plant characteristic of the Middle East region. The valuable properties of black cumin were appreciated already in ancient Egypt, where it was called the gold of the pharaohs. These black beans with a sharp, intense flavour are currently used mainly as an aromatic spice with a wide range of culinary applications. - Black cumin seed is a source of thiamine, i.e. vitamin B1, which contributes to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism. Moreover, it contains: vitamin C, iron and zinc help in the proper functioning of the immune system. It should also be added that black cumin contains a high content of dietary fiber and is a source of protein.

- Black cumin Seed, like all-natural superfoods, is full of antioxidants. These black aromatic seeds contain, among others thymoquinone and quercetin, which lower blood glucose levels, increase insulin secretion and sensitize cells to insulin.

Directions for use:

Usually, the beans are gently toasted and ground or used as an addition to bread or dishes, e.g. curry. Black cumin can be added to cottage cheese, soups, main courses or smoothies - by mixing it with honey beforehand. Suitable for vegans, naturally gluten-free.

The recommended daily intake is 3 g. Just 1 teaspoon a day is enough to supplement your diet with valuable minerals, healthy fatty acids and antioxidants
