Universal coffee, specialty quality, reminiscent of notes of sweet, ripe apple, plum, vanilla, caramel and milk chocolate. Classic high-quality coffee from the central-western part of Colombia. The Quindio region is covered with dormant volcanoes, fertile soil, tropical rainforests and bamboo forests. It is so valuable for the balance of our planet that UNESCO has inscribed the entire area on the World Heritage List. The coffee is bought from farmers who grow and harvest Arabica by hand, then it is washed according to Colombian custom. Fermentation in a tank filled with water takes 12 to 36 hours, and drying takes place on a patio or African beds.
